    Not only is Danielle one of our yoga teachers, she is also the co-owner of Child’s Pose! As a long-time practitioner, her love of yoga and working with kiddos helped bring Child’s Pose studio to life. Her classes are a blend of her deep personal practice and her creative, playful energy.

  • Jess Rhode - Studio Co-Owner

    Jess’s love of all things yoga, passion for working with kids, and desire to share health and wellness resources with people of all ages is what led her to co-create Child’s Pose. When she’s not busy playing the role of studio co-owner, you can find Jess teaching our kids yoga classes!

  • Daisy the Studio Pup

    Daisy is a 1yr old rescue mega mutt who is as sweet as can be and loves spending afternoons sunbathing in the studio courtyard or napping in the lobby. She’s currently training to be a therapy dog, but the studio is her time off so please feel free to come say hi if you want!

  • Megan Thompson

    Megan Thompson

    Megan is a yoga teacher, spiritual life coach and Ayurvedic health coach. She lives her dharma by facilitating healing in others. Soft spoken, optimistic and encouraging, she teaches a gentle yet challenging style, while keeping you on your toes. With dope playlists and a big smile, you’re sure to have a little fun in her classes. Combining her knowledge of yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, and spiritual practices, she works to bring you into balance, mind-body-spirit.

  • Alyssa Fletcher

    Alyssa is a yoga teacher, dancer, and lover of all things movement! Her dance background informs her teaching style as it invokes a sense of play and freedom while maintaining alignment and organization in the body. She is passionate about guiding others toward their most empowered and aligned version of self through breath and movement. Her class is sweaty and sweet; you can expect to feel a sense of joy, as well as deeply held and supported.

  • Liz Bovell

    Originally from New York, Liz discovered Pilates after moving to California and quickly found it to be more than just a workout—it became a source of strength, clarity, and grounding. Her teaching blends classical Pilates with high-energy fitness techniques, incorporating plyometric exercises, meticulous timing, and rhythm-driven flows to build strong, lean, and toned bodies. Liz’s playlists feature something for everyone, creating a vibrant and motivating atmosphere. Known for her personable approach, she creates a space where clients feel empowered to move, breathe, and thrive—both on and off the mat.

  • Shaun McNally

    Shaun has over 5,000 hours of public teaching experience and 4,000 hours of formal Yoga training, including a Level 1 Yoga Therapy certification and a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). In addition to her teaching, Shaun volunteers with Homeboy Industries and Prison Yoga + Meditation, offering trauma-informed Yoga to underserved communities, including unhoused and incarcerated individuals. Currently, Shaun is enrolled in eCornell's Plant Medicine Course, furthering her expertise in holistic healing. As a 500-hour E-RYT and Reiki Master, she integrates her knowledge of Yogic philosophy, Tibetan Buddhism, dream Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Tantra into her teaching. Her classes and workshops are known for their inclusivity, depth, and transformative potential, offering students a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern practice.

  • Christopher Mexas

    Christopher is an LA-based yoga facilitator and professional musician devoted to connecting rhythm, movement, and spirit. Guided by curiosity and a passion for transformation, he blends sound healing, fiery flows, and intuitive practice to lead students on an inner journey toward purpose and connection.

    Through years of pursuing his own dharma he’s found growth, recovery, and discipline within his own yoga practice. Christopher’s main goal is to bring compassion, authenticity, and humility to his classes creating spaces where people can explore their edge, reconnect with their hearts, and remember their nature as spiritual beings living a human experience.

  • Steph Lopez

    Steph is an LA based yoga instructor with certifications in Vinyasa, Sculpt, Myofascial Release, and Yoga Nidra. She strives to create a fun and empowering atmosphere while fostering mind-body wellness through intentional movement and breath. Her classes encourage students to embrace the joy of movement while allowing them to refocus their energy and leave feeling more in tune with themselves.Outside of the studio, she enjoys hanging out with her two pups, snowboarding, and reading a good book.

  • Gilly Busler

    Gilly was born and raised in Boston and has been teaching Yoga Sculpt and Vinyasa for over five years, working with a wide range of students including college athletes, prenatal women, marathon runners, older adults, and everyone in between. While navigating muscular injuries as a former gymnast, Gilly discovered yoga as a powerful tool for stretching, healing, and joyful movement. Amid a fast-paced medical career, Gilly turns to yoga to slow down, reset, and reconnect - and she brings that intention into every class she teaches. Her flows are both challenging and mindful, inviting students to move with awareness, tune into their bodies, and release what no longer serves them beyond the four corners of the mat!

    Outside of the studio, Gilly worked as a pediatric nurse in Boston and is now a newly practicing nurse practitioner in Los Angeles. When she is not teaching, you will find her taking long walks by the beach, taking Pilates classes, reading psychological thrillers, or experimenting with allergy-friendly recipes

  • Paul Croce

    Paul is a karma yogi, certified grief educator, digital producer and Los Angeles resident of over twenty years. He discovered his yoga practice in tandem with grief from the loss of his father in 2023. He seeks opportunities to educate and learn about how grief informs our life experience especially as it relates and connects to the disciplines of yoga. When he's not at Child's Pose teaching, tidying or taking class, he's at home with his beautiful newborn daughter, Mia. 

  • Sophie Boree Kim

    As a psychologist and Third Culture Kid, Sophie has spent a lifetime searching for the meaning of "home." She ultimately found it not in a place, but within the body and breath.

    With over a decade of practice, Sophie views yoga as a gracious space for curiosity rather than another item on a to-do list. Her teaching is rooted in a simple philosophy: your body is a friend to be known, not a project to be managed. Whether through her yoga classes, research, or consulting work, she is committed to fostering nurturing spaces where everyone can grow. 

    Born in South Korea, raised in Bangkok, and having called cities from Philly, NYC, Memphis to LA home, Sophie knows the feeling of searching for belonging. She invites you to join her on the mat—to sweat, breathe, and simply show up as you are.

  • Ari Ronit

    Ari guides restorative yoga as a way of sharing the medicine of stillness. His classes invite students into deep rest through slow, grounding sequences informed by his training in Meditation, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and Hatha Yoga. With a focus on nourishing the connective tissues, his practice supports flexibility, relaxation, and emotional balance. Emphasizing meditation and nervous system regulation, Ari creates a welcoming space for all levels to soften, release, and return to equilibrium, cultivating both resilience and the capacity to receive deep rest, the foundation that supports all other asanas.

    Outside the studio, Ari works in mental health and teaches art, in addition to his primary practice as a painter and poet. His multidisciplinary path continues to shape his teaching, reminding students that stillness can be a bridge to both healing and creativity.

  • Claire Tree

    Claire is a yoga teacher and ACSM-certified personal trainer who encourages her students to cultivate health and well-being through the mind-body connection. Her teaching style supports mindful, intentional movement and breath both on and off the yoga mat. She is passionate about all things health and wellness, and eager to share the joy of yoga with her students. Her goal is to create an inclusive space for students of all levels and backgrounds and to make yoga an accessible practice to anyone. Outside of the studio, Claire can be found hiking with her husband, reading a good book, or trying out the latest flavors at Salt & Straw.

  • Kyla Porcellini

    Hi there! My name is Kyla and I’m so happy to be a part of the Child’s Pose team. I’ve completed certifications in vinyasa flow, sculpt, yin, and breathwork. I really enjoy guiding students to a deeper level of their own practice. Yoga has been transformative in my own life and I feel so fortunate to be able to share my passion with you.

    When I’m not taking or teaching class, you can find me cuddling my cat, Sunflower, or riding my longboard through the neighborhood!

    I hope practicing with me brings you the same joy that I get from teaching you. See you in class soon!

  • Mandy Bics

    Mandy has been practicing yoga for over 17 years, beginning her formal studies at Marietta College in Ohio in 2008.  Her teaching is informed by extensive training, ongoing study, and a deep commitment to yoga as a holistic, lifelong practice. Mandy completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Childs Pose under the mentorship of Shaun McNally and integrates principles of Ayurveda, the chakra and meridian systems, and intentional breathwork into her classes to support physical alignment, mental clarity, and nervous system balance.

    Outside the studio, Mandy enjoys acting, cycling, and traveling, having explored 24 countries.  She looks forward to welcoming you to class.

  • Connor Barry

    Connor has been practicing yoga since his teen years and is a graduate of Shaun McNally’s Asana & Beyond 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Connor believes in an individualized approach to yoga that creates inclusive and energizing spaces for students of all levels.  Through teaching, Connor hopes to honor the ancient yogic traditions in a contemporary studio environment.
    Teaching is a way of life for Connor, as during the week, he teaches physical education for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade in addition to coaching after-school sports. He sees yoga as a valuable tool for children and young people to learn how their bodies move through space, grow emotionally, and, most importantly, find joy in physical activity.

    Connor’s hope is always that students leave feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected to themselves.

  • Paulina Cortez

    Paulina completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Childs Pose under the mentorship of Shaun McNally and is excited to share what she has learned with the community!

    When she’s not studying yoga, Paulina enjoys taking her dog Pluto on bike rides and hikes. 

  • Amber Cardullo

    A passionate Philly girl at heart, Amber is a yoga sculpt, power yoga & strength training focused fitness instructor (she also teaches kids!) She thrives on connecting with her students both inside and outside of the studio. Creatively fueled by intelligent sequencing and motivating playlists, her class will always leave you feeling energized and excited for your next time on your mat.   • Emily Parker

    Emily guides yoga as a somatic healing practice. It is a way to come home to the body, to let emotions move through, and to remember that we were never meant to do this alone. In her classes, you can expect thoughtful, intuitive flows rooted in nervous system awareness. She offers gentle invitations to listen closely, to sensation, to intuition, and to whatever your body is asking of you in that moment. Her sequencing often draws inspiration from astrology, syncing with lunar cycles, planetary themes, and the emotional undercurrents of the cosmos. Outside the studio, you can find her typing away at her latest memoir-style newsletter on Substack, My Metal Detector Heart, spending time in nature with her pup, and cooking delicious dinners for her community.
